God’s people are subject to a grotesque enemy
God’s saviour surprises the enemy king of God’s people, defeats him and leads God’s people in victory
Jesus surprises the enemy king of God’s people, defeats him, and leads God’s people in victory
3. the human story (3.31; 1 Corinthians 1.18-31)
God’s saviour is of no reputation
Only God could do that!
God’s people are prone to forget
Boast in the LORD!
