About morningchurch …
We gather on Sundays to hear God speaking through His Word, the Bible we sing & we pray. Afterwards we continue meeting together over a ‘cuppa’ and encourage each other to keep growing as followers of Jesus. Once a month we share lunch together.
We also like to meet again throughout the week at various times and locations for growth groups, Bible study, fellowship, fun and support.
We love having kids as part of the church family. morningchurch includes a kids talk in the main gathering and kids@morningchurch Sunday school.

Our Sunday gatherings are a joyful blend of hearing God in the Bible, talking to God in prayer, singing together with hope and fellowshipping together over food and drink.
Children are important to us. We have a special time in our gatherings, especially for the kids followed by a dedicated time of teaching and fun in FSC kids and creche.

We’re a family-friendly church in Thurgoona for Thurgoona.
We love to share the good news of Jesus and hope to see many people in our community enjoying new life in Jesus.
We value church family across all ages and have programs for creche, kids and youth. We also enjoy time in growth groups during the week, looking at a passage in the Bible together, praying together, and sharing the ups and downs of life together.

GOD, THE GOOD RULER AND CREATOR
God is the ruler of the world.
He made the world.
He made us to rule his good world, giving thanks and honor to him.
OUR REBELLION AGAINST GOD
We all reject God as our ruler by running our own lives our own way.
By rebelling against God’s way, we damage ourselves, each other, and the world.
GOD’S JUSTICE
God won’t let us rebel against him forever.
God’s punishment for rebellion is death and judgment.
GOD SENT JESUS TO DIE FOR US
Because of his love, God sent his Son into the world: the man Jesus Christ.
Jesus always lived under God’s rule.
But Jesus took our punishment by dying in our place.
JESUS, THE RISEN RULER AND SAVIOR
God raised Jesus to life again as the ruler and judge of the world.
Jesus has conquered death, now brings forgiveness and new life, and will return in glory.
Our way

- facing death and judgment
God’s new way
- submit to Jesus as our ruler
- rely on Jesus’ death and resurrection
- forgiven by God

Junior Jivers is a fun music and movement program for children and carers.
10-11 am Every Thursday (Lavington) & Friday (Thurgoona) during school terms.

Kids club
Kids Club is all about Fun, Friends, Food, and Learning about Jesus!
Kids Club is for Primary school children (years 1-6) and we meet during the school terms on Friday evenings. Each week we have fun with a variety of activities and games, we have dinner together and we learn about Jesus from the Bible.
Kids Club is run by trained staff and volunteers from across our church network.

GROW (teenagers in Year 7 to 12)
Come along on most Friday nights in NSW school terms to play some EPIC games, learn about Jesus from the bible and make great friends!

Kids churches
All of our churches have a special teaching program for kids (Sunday school) that operates in the second half of our gatherings.
The children start in church with the adults. Our kids church programs begin after the kids talk.
All of our teachers and helpers are properly qualified volunteers from our churches.
Women & Men
Craft n Chat
A fun and friendly craft group for women of all ages that meets fortnightly on Tuesday afternoons, 1-3 pm during school terms at 402 Wagga Rd.

AMC aims to build blokes up in Christ through an annual event that brings great Bible teaching to Albury for men across the region.
Albury Christian Womens Convention
ACWC is an annual day of inspiring Bible teaching, rich encouragement and warm fellowship for women of all ages across the region.
