saviour to save them

Now – God raises up Jesus as our deliverer so we can repent, trust and obey (1 John 2.1-11)

3. Our story (Judges 2.19-3.1-6; Hebrews 12.4-11; 1 John 2.12-17; 1 Peter 1.3-9)
God uses the wicked and evil things of this world to test his people
God disciplines those he loves (Hebrews 12.1-11)
We are not to love the world or be led astray (1 John 2.12-17)
We have an inheritance that never perishes, spoils or fades through faith that’s proven genuine (1 Peter
1.1-9)
